Terms of Service
Effective: April 23, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures governing use of the mobile invitation service (the "Service") provided by PickInvite (the "Company"), along with the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- User: any person who accesses the Service and uses it in accordance with these Terms
- Owner: the person who created an invitation. Ownership is authenticated via localStorage in the creating browser or via the edit URL received at payment
- Sample: a preview invitation valid for 7 days before payment
- Public invitation: an invitation accessible to external viewers for 3 months after payment
Article 3 (Provision of the Service)
- The Company provides invitation creation and sharing without requiring a login.
- The Service is intended to be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, incidents, force majeure, or similar causes.
- The Company may change the content or conditions of the Service without prior notice; material changes will be announced on the website.
Article 4 (User obligations)
Users shall not engage in any of the following:
- Creating invitations that impersonate others or contain false information
- Posting obscene, violent, hateful, or illegal content
- Interfering with normal operation of the Service (bulk requests, automated scripts, spam, etc.)
- Collecting or distributing another user's invitation URL without permission
- Any other acts prohibited by applicable law
Article 5 (Payment and refunds)
- The fee for a public invitation is 19,800 KRW (approximately $15, VAT included) per 3-month period.
- Payments are processed through Toss Payments and support credit cards, bank transfer, and simple payment methods.
- Refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy.
Article 6 (Self-service operation)
PickInvite is a self-service platform and does not operate a traditional customer service center. By using the Service, users acknowledge the following:
- The edit URL is stored only in the email entered at payment and in localStorage of the creating browser
- If the user loses both the edit URL and the email, the Company does not guarantee individual recovery
- Inquiries to contact@pickinvite.com are handled primarily through auto-response
Article 7 (Service suspension and data deletion)
- Sample invitations expire 7 days after creation, at which point their content and images are deleted
- Public invitations are switched to private after 3 months and retained for a further 12 months (extended upon renewal payment)
- Any invitation that accumulates three or more reports is automatically placed under review, and is set to private if a policy violation is confirmed
Article 8 (Intellectual property)
Copyright in photos and text uploaded by users remains with the user. The Company uses such content only to the extent necessary to provide the Service, and does not use it for any separate commercial purpose.
Article 9 (Limitation of liability)
- The Company is not liable for damages caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, or outages at backbone telecom carriers
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from false information submitted by guests via RSVP or the guestbook
- The Company does not intervene in disputes between users, or between a user and a third party
Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the Company and users are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court in the first instance.
